Major Injuries Reported After ATV Plunges into Creek in Goleta

Two people were injured, one critically, in an ATV crash Tuesday afternoon in Goleta, according to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department. Emergency personnel were dispatched at about 12:15 p.m. to the 700 block of North Glen Annie Road, where an ATV had plunged about 30 feet into a creekbed, said fire Capt. Daniel Bertucelli.

Fatal Crash Involving Motorcyclist Under Investigation in Lompoc Valley

One person was killed Tuesday afternoon in a crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle in the Lompoc Valley. At approximately 2:50 p.m., personnel from the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, along with the California Highway Patrol, were dispatched to the incident near the intersection of Purisima Road and Mission Gate Road, according to county fire Capt. Daniel Bertucelli.

Felon in Possession of Loaded Firearm Arrested

On June 17, 2021, around 8:30 pm, the Santa Barbara City Combined Communications Center received 9-1-1 calls about a subject walking in the area of State Street and Cabrillo Boulevard with a possible handgun concealed in their waistband.
