Spotted: Big Block '68 Corvette Kept in SoCal Garage for 25 Years!

Tipped off by a friend, I rushed to a residence in nearby Downey, California, to see a 1968 Corvette that had been stashed in a garage since 1996. The Corvette was in the process of being sold, and fortunately I was able to grab some pictures in situ before it was removed, dusted off, and hauled away. In situ is an archaeology term that refers to documenting fossils and artifacts as they were unearthed, before being excavated, tagged, and cataloged. Though not as glamorous as discovering a stegosaurus skeleton, finding an old car like this '68 Corvette does have a certain Indiana Jones sense of excitement to it, minus the threat of face-melting demonic apparitions, thankfully.
