15 students keep 4.0 throughout middle school

EPHRAIM — Fifteen Ephraim Middle School students received a 4.0 grade point average for the entire duration of their middle school education. The students were asked about their experience and how it prepared them for high school. Termination of bookmobile prompts citizen opposition

MANTI—A 2-1 vote by the Sanpete County Commission to terminate a contract for bookmobile services in the county has prompted significant opposition on social media. At the May 18 meeting, Commissioners Reed Hatch and Ed Sunderland voted in favor of termination. Commission Chairman Scott Bartholomew voted against termination and in favor of keeping the bookmobile. The vote just took a few minutes. There was no discussion of the rationale for the action.
