53-year-old man shot to death at Lexington Park in St. Mary's County

WASHINGTON, DC (7News) — A 53-year-old man died after he was shot multiple times Tuesday in St. Mary's County, police said. The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office said that they arrived to the 21600 block of Great Mills road in Lexington Park around 5:52 p.m. Tuesday and found the man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Lifesaving measures were attempted, and the victim was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead, police added.

Lusby man sentenced in Rape of 12 year old

St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office On View Arrests And Warrants Served

Drug Arrest- On July 17, 2022, Dep. Budd was in the 46000 block of Yorktown Road in Lexington Park, for a warrant service and made contact with Xavier Lavale Fields, age 30 of Hollywood. Fields was operating a vehicle, and located inside the vehicle was a baggie containing suspected cocaine, a scale and empty packaging bags. Fields was arrested and charged with CDS: Possession-Not Marijuana and served outstanding warrants for Burglary and Violation of Protective Order.

Pair Busted By Police K9 With Crack Cocaine, Pot, Paraphernalia During Lusby Stop: Sheriff

A routine traffic stop in Maryland led to the arrest of a man and woman who were busted with drugs by a police K9 in Calvert County, authorities announced. Lusby residents Kevin Casswell Gregory, 41, and Alexa Kirsten Freemen, were arrested by members of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office following a stop in the area of Laurel Way near the intersection of Bay View Drive in Lusby for a vehicle and traffic violation.

RTC Band (above) will be featured on the Music by the River stage from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, August 13, at Belle Isle State Park, 1632 Belle Isle Road, Lancaster.
