Police Investigate Threats to Local Schools

Oneida County Sheriffs Office is investigating threats made to the Camden School District. According to police, at this point, there is no threat to faculty and staff. Police say that the threat was made through social media. Police were able to determine that the threat did not come from a Camden School District student.

2021 Salmon Season Draws Enthusiastic Anglers To Salmon River Corridor

OSWEGO COUNTY – Despite a slow start brought on by warm September weather, the 2021 salmon fishing season on Lake Ontario and the Salmon River drew huge crowds of anglers. The annual tradition has seen a boost in participation, along with many other forms of outdoor recreation, due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Anglers from many states visited the Pulaski-Altmar area in search of large fish and for many, an opportunity to spend time outdoors enjoying the autumn weather.

Camp Hollis Continues 75th Anniversary Celebration With New Video Project

The 75th anniversary celebration of Camp Hollis continues with a new video showcasing the camp, its history and the impact it has had on the children of Oswego County. Friends of Camp Hollis, which provides support to the camp, planned a variety of activities in honor of this milestone. Unfortunately, an in-person gathering scheduled to take place at the camp has been postponed until 2022 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
