13 stolen cars recovered from Aqueduct on Friday

VICTOR VALLEY, Calif. ( — Sheriff’s officials said 15 vehicles were recovered during a joint operation along the California Aqueduct Friday. On June 18th members of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Dive Team along with the San Bernardino County Auto Theft Task Force (SANCATT) took part in the day-long recovery operation as they searched 14 miles of the aqueduct.

2 airlifted from Monday night crash on Palmdale Rd in Adelanto

ADELANTO, Calif. ( — Two people injured in a Monday night crash in Adelanto were airlifted to trauma centers. It happened at 11:34 pm, on June 22nd at the intersection of Palmdale and Aster Roads. Upon arrival, first responders located a white Hyundai and a black Corolla with major damage.

Woman airlifted from crash on SR-18 in Lucerne Valley on Tuesday

LUCERNE VALLEY, Calif. ( — A woman injured in a Tuesday morning crash in Lucerne Valley was airlifted to a trauma center. According to the California Highway Patrol incident logs, the three-vehicle traffic collision was reported at 10:17 am, on State Route 18, near Buena Vista Road on June 22, 2021.

A fire at Burrtec Waste Services in Yucca Valley yesterday (June 21) is under investigation. San Bernardino County Firefighters were called just before 1 p.m., to the facility after multiple large roll-off containers caught fire. Crews initiated a defense attack while windy conditions hampered visibility and created an exposure threat. Additionally, a firefighter on the scene located an injured cat. The fire was ultimately knocked down in one hour and crews remained on-scene for more than two hours to assist with clean-up. The cause of the fire is under investigation by San Bernardino County Fire Investigators. Animal Control was requested for the injured cat and Z107.7 News will follow up with any update on the cat’s condition.
