Goodfellow AFB to Conduct Active Shooter Exercise On Thursday

SAN ANGELO, TX –– On Thursday, October 21st Goodfellow Air Force Base will be conducting an active shooter exercise according to information released from the base Tuesday. During the exercise, residents in the area may hear a "giant voice" or loudspeaker used to announce weather and safety conditions to the base. Residents should not be alarmed.  Due to the heightened security measures, visitors and employees may experience delays at both gates.

Dozens Miraculously Survive Fiery Plane Crash Near Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A private jet crashed and burst into flames west of Katy Tuesday morning after taking off from Houston Executive Airport and miraculously everyone survived. The plane was carrying 21 individuals including the crew and all but one person, who went to the hospital with back injuries, were safely removed from the plane. A responder said it was a miracle that everyone survived the crash. Feds Make Another Huge Meth Bust in Brady Tuesday

BRADY, TX – U.S. Marshals returned to Brady on Tuesday morning in an attempt to stop the gigantic drug ring that is supplying narcotics across Texas according to sources with the federal court system. The original bust took place on May 3, 2021. During the initial roundup, the Drug Enforcement Agency were able to arrest over 15 people for federal charges pertaining to running a methamphetamine operation. City Council Approves Paving Southwest Blvd. Over Red Arroyo with Concrete

SAN ANGELO, TX –– After months of construction work diverting traffic on one of San Angelo's busiest streets, the reconstruction project on Southwest Blvd. over the Red Arroyo near McDonalds's is one step closer to being completed. During this week's San Angelo City Council meeting, the city council spoke with Operations Assistant Director Patrick Frerich about a proposed change order that would pave the street with concrete rather than asphalt as planned and add an additional $381,942.12 to the cost of the project. San Angelo, TX- The San Angelo Health Department reported the following number of Covid-19 infections in Tom Green County for Tuesday: Total positive cases: 24,780 Active cases: 280 Currently hospitalized: 25 New positive cases: 17 Also, according to the report, there has been one new fatality as well. Victim Burned Beyond Recognition in Fiery Head-On Crash

CROSS PLAINS, TX – A fiery crash killed a Hispanic man on Monday morning in Callahan County. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, on Oct. 18 at 7:25 a.m., troopers with the Texas DPS were dispatched to State Highway 36, just 2 miles east of Cross Plains, for the report of a major crash. When the troopers arrived, they discovered a 2008 Acura MDX and a 2008 Ford Pickup that had crash head on. SAN ANGELO, TX –– The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office has released additional details in the case of sexual assault of minors against 22-year-old Esiah Castillo. On Monday, San Angelo Live! reported Castillo had been arrested for assaulting a 13-year-old victim after luring her on Snapchat. Mexican Coyote Abandons Illegal Immigrant Children in Deadly Fast Moving Water

AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott Friday announced that D6 Inc. ("D6") will relocate their headquarters from Portland, Oregon, to Sulphur Springs, Texas, and expand their manufacturing presence in the state. D6 is an advanced design-to-shelf packaging manufacturer, using recycled plastics. The project will create 231 new jobs and $27 million in capital investment. ODESSA, TX –– An Odessa Nimitz Middle School teacher is behind bars after allegedly soliciting a minor.
