An Accident That Should Not Have Happened

I was able to witness the aftermath first hand although I did not know at the time what had happened There were dozens of fire trucks, ambulances, and police cars with their bright red and blue lights flashing for hours. A helicopter also came and circled the area.

Part of Lindon goes on lockdown as police look for suspect

PLEASANT GROVE, Utah — Part of Lindon went into lockdown Friday afternoon as police searched for a suspect wanted for questioning in a series of property and fraud crimes. On Friday afternoon, detectives from the Pleasant Grove Police Department approached the man at a Walmart in Lindon. However, he proceeded to flee from the area, causing authorities to set up a detainment.

Hotel where missing YouTuber was last seen is less than 700 feet from the FBI

SALT LAKE CITY (KDVR) — A nationwide search is underway for missing YouTuber Gabby Petito, who was last seen checking out of a hotel on Aug. 24. FOX31 reached out to the Fairfield Inn and Suites after FOX13 in Salt Lake City confirmed that was where she was last seen. All the hotel staff could say was, “Unfortunately, we’re not allowed to comment”.

Last defendant pleads guilty for lighting Salt Lake City police car on fire

SALT LAKE CITY — A Salt Lake man has admitted to lighting a police car on fire in the Salt Lake City riot in May 2020. He’s the final defendant to face consequences. Christopher Isidro Rojas pleaded guilty to a felony count of civil disorder this week in U.S. District Court. A news release says Rojas admitted to lighting a cloth on fire and throwing it into that police car on May 30, 2020, in front of the main library downtown.
