St. Louis Boys 8th Grade Basketball

Last night the St. Louis 8th-grade boys traveled to Franklin County for basketball. We came out with a big win over them with a final score of 33-26. Scoring for SLS were David Koch with 9pts, Adam Weber and Griff Koester both bringing 8pts each, Cayden Lieland with 4pts, and Kaden Maple and Augie Hillenbrand both bringing 2pts. Carson Hartwell played aggressively on defense and had some great plays and assists in the game. We started quarter one slow and were actually down 4-10, but held the Wildcats in quarter 2 to no buckets gaining the lead 13-10 at the half. Taking that momentum and going the second half with it. These boys played smart defense using great help to shut down shots. Our press also caused some havoc and we were able to pull away a bit. Nice job gentleman on this big win over the Wildcats.
