Last week, the Bengelina Hospitality Group, which owns a group of St. Louis restaurants, announced that only vaccinated guests would be allowed to dine inside its restaurants.

Convicted killer of Granite City man sentenced in Madison County court

A St. Louis man found guilty of shooting to death a Granite City man in the spring was sentenced on Monday to serve a 65-year prison sentence. Kadeem Noland was convicted of first-degree murder in May in the killing of 36-year-old Jason Thomas in January 2020, according to a news release from Madison County State’s Attorney Tom Haine.

Noland gets 65-year prison term for murder

EDWARDSVILLE — A St. Louis man on Monday was sentenced to 65 years in prison for the January 2020 murder of Jason Thomas in Granite City. Kadeem Noland, 27, was sentenced to 65 years for the Jan. 9, 2020, murder of Jason Thomas, 36, of Granite City. He must serve 100 percent of his sentence.
