Police search for car involved in Mille Lacs County hit-and-run

(FOX 9) - Police are asking for help locating the car believed to be involved in a hit-and-run that left a teen bicyclist injured Saturday morning in Mille Lacs County. According to police, at about 4:34 a.m., the sheriff's office received a 911 call reporting a hit-and-run in the area of 150th Avenue and Whitetail Circle in Foreston, Minnesota.

Princeton woman sentenced in Redwood County Court for receiving stolen catalytic converters

A Princeton woman was sentenced in Redwood County Court last week for receiving stolen property from catalytic converter thefts. On July 22 of last year, the Redwood Falls Police Department was informed of suspicious activity going on at 33965 Laser Avenue. The person making the report stated he could hear the sound of a saw coming from the Redwood Gospel Hall, Inc., church parking lot.

Little Falls theater company presents play on 1905 murder

LITTLE FALLS — Local theater company, Little Falls Summer Musical, announces its upcoming play on the 1905 murder of Annie Kintop. “Darling,” a new true-crime play by Taryn Verley, will be Aug. 5-8 on the Charles D. Martin Auditorium stage in Little Falls. “Darling” retells the story of Kintop, a 24-year-old Morrison County woman and her murder in 1905, as well as the investigation that followed. In addition to dramatizing facts of the case as they were reported at the time, “Darling” gives voice to a pioneering young woman whose life was cut short. Also, it depicts how members of the community coped with a heinous atrocity committed in their backyards.
