Three charged after multiple Penobscot County vehicle thefts

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - Three people were arrested after officers recovered a truck, golf cart, trailer and razor side-by-side that had been stolen over the past two months. 63-year-old James Grant of Hudson, 23-year-old Zachary Boggs of Levant and 21-year-old Ashley Dunroe of Kenduskeag were charged with theft by unauthorized taking.

Traffic stop leads drug bust in Penobscot County

STETSON (WGME) – Two Mainers were arrested after police say they found fentanyl and meth inside a car during a traffic stop in Stetson. The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office says deputies stopped a vehicle driven by 29-year-old Mark Page of Dexter. Two women were also in the car.

Two People Arrested; Drugs Seized after Traffic Stop in Stetson, Maine

The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office arrested two people from Maine on Tuesday after fentanyl and meth were found in the vehicle following a traffic stop in Stetson. Three people, one man and two women, were in the car when it was pulled over on September 27 after the “vehicle was accelerating rapidly and appeared to be trying to evade” law enforcement.

Stetson Traffic Stop Nets Fentanyl, Meth, 2 Arrests

The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office seized fentanyl and meth, and arrested two people during a traffic stop in Stetson. The incident happened on September 27th, when SSG Roy Peary tried to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation. When the vehicle refused to stop and began speeding up rapidly, Peary waited until the driver had pulled into a driveway to talk with the occupants.The vehicle was driven by 29-year-old Mark Page of Dexter and two female passengers. After talking with the trio, Peary determined that Page was driving with a suspended license and one of the women had given him a fake name. Further investigation revealed the woman to be Anita Leo, 41, of Exeter who had 4 active warrants out for her arrest.
