3 people killed in Rusk County crash Saturday identified

TOWN OF WILLARD (RUSK COUNTY), Wis. (WEAU) - The three people killed in a crash Saturday afternoon in Rusk County are identified. 24-year-old Christian Ollinger of Ladysmith, 32-year-old Matthew Krisik of Hawkins and 41-year-old Shanna Krisik of Hawkins died after their vehicles collided head-on in the crash, according to the Rusk County Sheriff’s Office.

TOWN OF WILLARD (RUSK COUNTY), Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – Three people are dead after a crash Saturday afternoon in Rusk County. The Rusk County Sheriff’s Office said that the two-vehicle crash happened on Highway 27 south of Broken Arrow Road in the Town of Willard, or about eight miles south of Ladysmith, at about 3:23 p.m. Saturday.

Cash Bond Ordered For Man On Additional Charges Of Child Sexual Assault

RUSK COUNTY -- The Court has ordered a $10,000 cash bond for Scott Read on additional charges of child sexual assault filed against him in Rusk County Circuit Court. Criminal charges of Class B Felony 1st Degree Sexual Assault of a Child Under Age 12; Class B Felony Repeated Sexual Assault of a Child; Class C Felony Incest; Class I Felony Possession of THC - 2nd & Subsequent; and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia were filed against Read in March 2022. Read allegedly began sexually assaulting a child in 2014 when the child was approximately 5 years old and continued until 2021.
