Summer Pool Updates

Roseville Aquatics Complex open by reservations only. Due to construction delays, only the competition pool will be open for recreational swim until further notice. The competition pool has very limited shallow water so to provide safe access, we are requiring reservations. Reservations are released on Monday each week for the following weekend.

Park improvements honor military Veterans

Our Veteran’s Memorial Park North has a beautiful new look and feel after recent upgrades were completed. “Our Parks staff noticed that the trees planted to honor our Veterans weren’t looking healthy,” says Parks, Recreation & Libraries Open Space Superintendent Brian Castelluccio. “They were really struggling with the salinity in the recycled water and being watered by overhead sprinklers designed for the turf. So, we decided to replace the trees with a species that could better tolerate the recycled water, remove the turf and install an efficient irrigation system for the trees.”

Secret Santa spreads holiday cheer

A Secret Santa recently gave the Parks, Recreation & Libraries Adventure Club thousands of dollars to donate to deserving families in the community. The anonymous donor called to pay their bill, and then asked to donate an additional $2,000 dollars to Adventure Club families. The Adventure Clubs are childcare facilities operated by the City of Roseville that provide a safe, caring environment for elementary school-age children. The family making the gift had only one request, the funds go to families in need.
