On Saturday the cheapest gallon of unleaded regular in the area was at Costco at 4141 Ne Stephens St. Regular there was listed at $3.49 per gallon Wednesday, compared to $4.19 at Chevron at 346 Nw Garden Valley Blvd, which GasBuddy clocked as the most expensive station in the area.

ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL FUGITIVE ON THURSDAY NIGHT

Roseburg Police jailed a fugitive on Thursday night. An RPD report said just after 9:30 p.m. a vehicle operated by 38-year old Joseph Cramer was headed south on Northeast Kerr Street. An officer turned around and was going to pull the vehicle over for a violation when the driver allegedly accelerated and turned down Northeast Clover Street. Before the officer could catch up and activate the patrol vehicle’s emergency overhead lights, Cramer and a female passenger both allegedly excited the vehicle and ran into the backyard of a residence.
