‘This is Brodie Lee’: New documentary honors late pro wrestler from Rochester

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A new documentary is set to premiere at Movies 10 in Rochester Tuesday that explores the life of local professional wrestler Jon Huber. Huber, known as Luke Harper and Brodie Lee during his stints with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and All Elite Wrestling (AEW), died last December. He was 41-years-old. Huber was survived by his wife and two children. His wife Amanda said in an Instagram post that he died due to a non-COVID related lung issue.

N.Y. high school football player hurt during game dies after head injury

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – A high school football player in northern New York died from a head injury he suffered during a game, according to local media. Tyler Christman, a freshman at Carthage High School, was injured during a junior varsity game Saturday against West Genesee High School in Camillus, about 77 miles from Rochester, NBC New York reported.

Canandaigua Academy to induct several new members into their Hall of Fame this week

Canandaigua Academy will be inducting new members into their Hall of Fame this weekend at homecoming; here are their names. Billy Greene, a 1995 graduate, was a lacrosse and football star at Canandaigua Academy. He played every season in both sports throughout high school and was set to play both at Syracuse University before following in his brother’s foot steps and heading to Michigan State.
