Car stolen with baby inside on Fernwood Park in Rochester

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Rochester police are searching for a suspect after a car was stolen with a baby inside Wednesday. According to investigators, the 6-month-old child was in the back seat of the vehicle on Fernwood Park around 2:00 p.m. when it was stolen. They say keys were in the vehicle and it was running when it was taken.

RPD investigate gunfire that damaged house, vehicle on Glenwood Ave.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Rochester Police Department received a report of gunfire in the area of Lake and Glenwood Avenue around 12:30 a.m. Thursday overnight. On-scene officials located a house and a vehicle on Glenwood Avenue that had been damaged by gun strikes. According to police, no one was injured as a result of the crime.

Student fights off would-be rapist near University of Rochester
