Passenger injured after shots are fired into vehicle

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – The Mobile Police Department is investigating yet another case of shots being fired into an occupied vehicle. Officers responded to University Hospital about 2:10 a.m. Saturday in reference to one shot. Police said the male victim was a passenger in a vehicle traveling in the area of Springhill Avenue and Moffett Road when an unknown subject fired shots into the vehicle.

Friendship Tournament Focuses on Comradery

The Storm Friendship Playdate offers a chance for teams to gel as they compete in a casual competition December 11 -12 at the Foley Event Center. The event, a partnership between Mobile Storm Volleyball and Pleasure Island Storm Volleyball, is expected to draw upwards of 100 club volleyball teams from around the USA Volleyball Gulf Coast Region each day of the competition.
