City on the PE Trail Feasibility Study

The Rialto Pacific Electric Trail Expansion Feasibility Study (Feasibility Study) will assess different alternatives for extending the Pacific Electric Trail from its current terminus at Cactus Avenue to the eastern boundary of the City of Rialto at Pepper Avenue. The extended trail will run through a disadvantaged community that is impacted by inequities based on income, health, and quality of the environment.

The primary responsibilities of the City Clerk’s Office are to plan and manage the operations of maintaining official records and documents, conduct all municipal and general elections, prepare agendas and minutes for the Rialto City Council and performs special assignments as assigned by the Mayor and City Council. The City Clerk is the liaison to the Human Relations Commission, the Cable Advisory Commission and the Mobile Home Rent Review Commission. City Council and Elected Officials

The Rialto City Council consists of five members — a mayor, a mayor pro tempore, and three council members. The Council meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month. Finance Department

Business Hours: Monday – Friday | 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. The Finance division is responsible for maintaining the fiscal affairs of the City, the Rialto Utility Authority and the former Redevelopment Agency. This includes maintenance of the general accounting and budget records, accounts payable, payroll, accounts receivable functions and providing citywide purchasing services and controls. In addition, department personnel are responsible for debt and cash flow issues and all reporting requirements.
