Surrey falls 8-2 to Muskrats

The Surrey Blue Sox advanced to the championship round of the 2021 Class B District 2 Tournament by virtue of their wild 9-8 victory Thursday evening, but the Sox could not overcome the Renville County Muskrats Friday afternoon, falling by an 8-2 final score at Corbett Field to end their season.

Surrey takes one of two, advances to championship round

The Surrey Blue Sox took part in a couple of wild affairs in the third day of the 2021 Class B Legion District 2 Tournament, dropping their first game to the Renville County Muskrats by an 8-4 final score before bouncing back with a wild 9-8 victory against the Burlington Bulldogs that sealed their spot in the Friday championship game against the Muskrats.
