(NIXA, MO) For bargain hunters there may be no better target than gas, with the cheapest station in the Nixa area offering savings of $0.26 per gallon. According to a survey by GasBuddy, Murphy USA at 1106 N Massey Blvd was the cheapest station in the area, with regular listed at $2.73 per gallon at the pumps Wednesday. That was compared to Cenex at 5384 S Campbell Ave, where a gallon of regular was selling for $2.99.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The office of Acting U.S. Attorney Teresa A. Moore released a statement regarding a Republic truck driver’s federal case. Cleveland Lee Crumsey, 38, has been sentenced in federal court for “transporting two Missouri teenagers across state lines and sexually assaulting them.” His victims were females, ages 16 and 17. U.S. District Judge Roseann Ketchmark sentenced Crumsey to 25 years in federal prison without parole. He will also spend the rest of his life on supervised release following incarceration.
