A Randolph County man involved in a police standoff last year is headed to prison. Luke Haggard of Moberly pleaded guilty Wednesday to unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful use of a weapon. He was sentenced to seven years on the possession charge and four years on the use charge, but will be allowed to serve the sentences at the same time.

Two serious injury accidents were investigated by State Troopers in Caldwell County Sunday evening. At 7:30 pm in a field near SE McBee Road near Braymer, 74-year-old Clifford Webb of Braymer crashed his ATV in an open field. The ATV rolled onto its side. Webb was taken to Liberty Hospital for treatment. Webb was also arrested for alleged DWI. He was released for treatment.

RANDOLPH COUNTY, MO – Two Salisbury residents were injured after their vehicle hit an animal in Randolph County early Monday. The crash was reported by Highway Patrol around 1:15 a.m. on Route 63 at Clark. According to the report, a southbound vehicle driven by Retha Johnson, 21, struck a deer as it crossed the roadway.
