Dale Joseph Rosonke, age 62 of New Hampton, IA, died Friday, August 5, 2022, from injuries sustained in an accident. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, North Washington, with Rev. Ken Glaser celebrating the Mass and Rev. James Goerend con-celebrating. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, North Washington.

Rowland Jones, of rural Monona, has the area’s largest collection of model tractors, farm machinery and other agricultural toys. He has been officially collecting since 1978. “Everybody wants to know how many I have,” Rowland said. “I do not know. I’ve never counted them.”

SUMNER, Wis. — Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a shooting at a home in Jefferson County. Deputies were called to a home in the Town of Sumner just before 12:15 a.m. for a report of gunshots. A person was seen walking away from the home. That person was later arrested.

A Sumner woman has been arrested and charged with Child Endangerment, however her name has been withheld at this point. Sumner Police were called to a home on a report of possible child abuse on June 10th. An investigation including DHS was performed that resulted in the a warrant being issued on Friday. The woman was arrested at her residence. She is being held in the Bremer County jail at this time. No other details were released.
