300th Skidmore win for Beth Hallenbeck; Thoroughbreds beat Saints 2-0

SARATOOGA SPRINGS. N.Y.— The Skidmore College field hockey team opened Liberty League play with a 2-0 win over St. Lawrence University Saturday afternoon at Wagner Park. The win moves the Thoroughbreds to 6-2 and is the 300th win at Skidmore for head coach Beth Hallenbeck. The Saints re 4-3. Hallenbeck has a 300-114-2 record in 22 years at Skidmore and is 370-191-3 overall in 32 seasons as head coach. Her Skidmore teams have won nine league championships and played in 13 NCAA Division III Championship Tournaments. Including three final four appearances.
