Funeral services set for Manhattan woman killed on US-24

MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) - Funeral services are set for the 38-year-old woman who died in an accident along US-24 highway in Pottawatomie Co. Friday morning. According to an obituary on the Mercer Funeral Home’s website, Abby L. Stous will be laid to rest Friday, May 20th at Sunrise Cemetery in Manhattan.

No injuries reported after crash on 24 sends car through house

MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) - Miraculously, no injuries have been reported after a crash on Highway 24 near Manhattan sent a car flying into a nearby house. The Pottawatomie Co. Sheriff’s Office says drivers should avoid the area of Highway 24 between Green Valley Rd. and Excel Rd. as emergency crews attempt to clean up a wreck.

ST. GEORGE, Kan. (KAKE) - The Kansas Highway Patrol says a 38-year-old woman was killed when her car was hit by a semi in Pottawatomie County on Friday. The accident happened at around 8:30 a.m. at U.S. 24 and Flush Road, near St. George. The patrol reports Abby Strous was northbound on Flush Road and failed to yield to a semi heading east on the highway.
