Sturgis school board approves measures at board meeting

Sturgis Public Schools Board of Education approved three measures at its meeting Monday. Board members approved a shared-services pay scale that matches increases approved previously for teachers and other groups. In June, the district put forth a guaranteed 1.25 percent increase to wages and salaries. That amount could increase up to 3 percent based on student enrollment for the 2021-22 academic year. Not including shared services at that time was an oversight, superintendent Art Ebert said.
