Kent church to celebrate racial justice, dedicate Portage NAACP office

The Kent United Church of Christ will host a Celebration of Racial Justice on Sunday, and will dedicate the Portage County NAACP office housed at the church. The Rev. Dr. Velda Love, minister for racial justice at the United Church of Christ, and the Rev. Michael Howard, minister of Faith in Action at the UCC's Living Water Association, will minister during the church's 10 a.m. service. A dedication of the NAACP office will follow at 11 a.m.
