Fair Play man faces assault, firearm charges

A man from Fair Play is facing felony domestic assault and firearm charges after allegedly throwing a woman and threatening her with a rifle. According to online court records, Harold R. Hartley, 62, is charged in Polk County Circuit Court with felony armed criminal action, class B felony first-degree domestic assault and class E felony unlawful use of a weapon — subsection 5, while intoxicated, loaded weapon.

The Polk County Hope Fair and Community Play Day on Saturday, June 5, at Cribbs Family Youth Park in Bolivar brought sunny skies and warm temperatures, perfect weather for the community to savor the fun. Kids played games, toured a firetruck and ambulance, and cooled off on the splash pad. The day also featured entertainment and food for all to enjoy.

BOLIVAR, Mo. (KY3) - A Bolivar man faces criminal charges after being accused of sex crimes involving a teenage girl. Rolland Fausett, 19, was recently booked into the Polk County Jail on charges of first-degree sexual abuse and sexual misconduct involving a child. The Bolivar Police Department has been investigating the case.

P, on a 2006 Harley Davidson at around 11:20 a.m. Monday, May 24, when he traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned, per a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.
