Point Pleasant Restaurant Reopens After A Year’s Worth Of Renovations

I've had to write about so many closings these last few weeks. It is nice for the shoe to be on the other foot for once. A beloved Jersey Shore restaurant is back in business!. According to APP.com, Boatyard401 in Point Pleasant reopened last Friday, September 30th after more then a year's worth of renovations which began back in June of 2021.

BRICK: MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT WITH OVERTURNED VEHICLE AND INJURIES

Emergency personnel was at the scene of an accident earlier today on Route 70 and Herbertsville Road involving an overturned vehicle. Man broke into home, stabbed owner multiple times, prosecutor says

A man was indicted Thursday in connection with the home invasion attack of a Seaside Park resident earlier this year, authorities said. Porfirio Serrano-Cruz, 39, of Seaside Heights, was indicted by a grand jury on charges of attempted murder, burglary, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and weapons-related offenses, according to a statement from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office.

Woman Fights Off Would-Be Kidnapper Amid Scary Daylight Attack Along Wooded NJ Trails

Police are searching for a man who they said tried to kidnap a woman along a New Jersey trail and drag her into the woods, before she was able to escape the terrifying attack. Lakewood police said it was around 1 p.m. Tuesday when the victim was walking by herself on North Lake Drive when the suspect, a stranger came up behind her. Wall schools agree to pay resident’s $41,442 legal fee

WALL TOWNSHIP — Wall Township Public Schools has agreed to cover $41,442.75 in legal fees to resident Betsy Cross, in a settlement of her litigation against the district over 2021 Open Public Records Act [OPRA] redactions.  According to Brian Smyth, business administrator for the Wall Board of Education, the district will be reimbursed the full amount by Cornell, Merlino, McKeever & Osborne, the law firm representing Wall Township Public Schools, prior to paying Ms.

Trio Charged With Dealing Cocaine On Jersey Shore, $18K Seized: Prosecutor

Three Ocean County residents have been arrested and charged with dealing drugs, authorities said. This cooperative, multi-agency investigation identified three residences – two in Lakewood and one in Toms River - as being utilized by Ivan Contreras-Cruz, 41, of Toms River, Alberto Vasquez-Ventura, 27, of Lakewood, and Natalia Mihok, 49, of Toms River, to store and distribute illegal narcotics, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D.
