2 drivers killed in head-on crash in southwest Kansas: patrol

CIMARRON, Kan. (KAKE) - The Kansas Highway Patrol says two people were killed when their vehicles collided head-on in the southwest part of the state. It happened just after 5 p.m. Tuesday on U.S. 50 about 17 miles west of Cimarron. The patrol's crash log states an eastbound Chevy Cobalt drove onto the south shoulder and upon correcting, it went left of center and collided with a westbound Dodge minivan.

Kansas man dies in accident near Phillipsburg, KS

PHILLIPS COUNTY, KS. (KSNB) - A 74-year-old man died following an accident Tuesday night in northern Kansas. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2016 Tacoma, driven by George Korobka, was traveling westbound on east Sante Fe Road in Phillips County. That’s located about six miles east of Phillipsburg.
