Fargo man accused of killing teen charged with attacking jail guard

Arthur Prince Kollie, 22, appeared Wednesday, July 28, in Cass County District Court on a felony charge of simple assault that stemmed from July 11. Kollie is being held at the Cass County Jail on felony counts of murder, robbery and aggravated assault in connection to the June 4 attack that killed middle school student Jupiter Paulsen.

Man accused of murdering 14-year-old faces new charges

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - The man accused of killing a 14-year-old girl in Fargo last month is now charged with assaulting an officer at the Cass County Jail. 22-year-old Arthur Kollie now faces a felony charge of simple assault of an officer. He’s being held at the Cass Countil Jail on multiple felony counts, including murder, after Jupiter Paulson was stabbed to death outside Party City in Fargo.

New bike laws will soon go into effect in North Dakota

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - Three new bike laws that were passed during this year’s North Dakota legislative session will soon go into effect. House Bill 1290 – Overtaking and Passing a Bicycle This law requires vehicles to pass a bicycle with a minimum of 3 feet between the bicyclist and the vehicle. This provides a safer environment for those riding bicycles on the road. Prior to this law, North Dakota was one of only seven states without a safe passing law.

One person dead in car-semi crash near Glyndon

GLYNDON, Minn. (KVRR/KFGO) – One person is dead following the collision of a car and a semi-truck at an intersection east of Glyndon shortly before 10 p.m. Tuesday. The State Patrol says the car was eastbound on 28th St. North when it ran into the side of the semi which was southbound on Highway 9.

Bail set at $1 million for man charged in deadly Fargo shooting

FARGO (KFGO KVRR) – The man charged in a deadly shooting in north Fargo Saturday night made his first court appearance Wednesday. Bond was set at $1 million for 40-year-old Raymond Gunn, who’s accused of killing 41-year-old Eric Woodrow Hayes of Fargo. If convicted, Gunn could be sentenced to life in prison without parole.
