Mandeville teen charged in Hammond shooting case

November 30, 2021, City of Hammond, LA – During the investigation, HPD Detectives were able to identify the offenders as Titus Fisher, 18, of Mandeville, and Kenneth Flocke, 21, of Mandeville. During the altercation, Fisher removed a firearm from his pocket and was striking the victim with it, when the firearm discharged hitting the victim. Fisher was charged with one count of Aggravated Second Degree Battery. Flocke was charged with one count of Simple Battery for kicking the victim.

1 dead, 1 missing after boating accident in Louisiana

BOGALUSA, La. — Louisiana authorities say one boater is dead and another missing after an accident on the Pearl River. The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries says crews found the body of 50-year-old Joseph Newby late Monday and were looking for a 47-year-old man and the 14-foot boat on Tuesday.

Moss Point man charged in shooting in Escatawpa

A Moss Point man is charged with shooting another man in Escatawpa, with the victim ending up in the hospital in Bay St. Louis. Twenty-five-year-old Christopher Ramon Freeman is charged with aggravated assault, shooting into a motor vehicle, and possession of a weapon by a felon. Mississippi Department of Corrections has a hold on Freeman for unrelated charges.

Bay man dies after elevator accident at his home

A Bay St. Louis man died last week after a cargo elevator accident at his home in the Riverview subdivision. At around 4:26 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, “the Bay St. Louis Police Department responded to the 11000 block of Tahiti Street after receiving the report of a cargo elevator malfunction, causing injuries to a passenger,” Chief Gary Ponthieux Jr. said in a press release Wednesday.
