Three-Star DE Ishmael Findlayter Commits to Virginia Tech

Virginia Tech has gone international for their latest commitment as three-star DE Ishmael Findlayter of Canada has chosen the Hokies. Findlayter chose the Hokies over offers from Arizona State, Vanderbilt, Ohio, Central Michigan, and South Dakota. He is Tech's second DE commit this cycle along with three-star Jason Abbey out of Richmond while he is also the second commit with international ties along with three-star Hannes Hammer who is from Germany but plays high school football at Roanoke's North Cross School.

BLACKBURG, Va, (WCYB) — The Virginia Tech football team open up the first fall camp of the Brent Pry era on Wednesday. Coach Pry said his team struggled on day one to understand the way he wants his team to practice and the intensity level he would like to see in each drill. But he said by day two, the team was already showing great improvements. The players also say they appreciate the way the coaches are pushing them at practice.
