A&W opens in c-store space in Hot Springs, Arkansas

A&W Restaurants has added another location to its convenience store footprint with a unit in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Located in a small strip center that includes a gas station, the restaurant features a drive-thru and 45 seats. Franchisee Mohammad Lone converted an independent restaurant to an A&W, according to a press release.

Marie “Louise” Tolleson, age 76, of Kirby, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021. She was born on Aug. 18, 1945, in Fordyce, the daughter of Leonard Roland McClane and Marie Cox McClane. On August 18, 1963, she was married to the love of her life, Alton Tolleson, who preceded her in death on April 11, 2014. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Doug McClane and Leonard McClane, Jr.

Ouachita appoints Dr. Julyse Migan-Gandonou Horr as director of applied behavior analysis program

Dr. Julyse Migan-Gandonou Horr has been named director of Ouachita's master’s degree program in applied behavior analysis (ABA), effective January 2022. Horr (pronounced HAW) is a doctoral-level Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D) as well as a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA). She has worked in the field for more than 10 years as a clinician, educator and researcher and is the owner and founder of ABA Clinical & Training Solutions consulting agency. Horr has published three research studies and has presented her work at national and international conferences. She has also developed and implemented training curricula for ABA.
