Teen Dies After Jumping Off Hudson Yards' Vessel In Front His Family

A 14-year-old boy jumped to his death from the Hudson Yards' Vessel attraction Thursday afternoon in front of his family, police said. The teenager — whose name was not disclosed — leaped off the eighth floor of the 150-foot Manhattan, New York installation located near West 33rd Street and 10th Avenue at around 12:50 p.m., the New York Daily News reported.

A Bronx mother is facing a slew of charges after over 25 ounces of cocaine was found in her daughter’s diaper bag. A Paterson ex-con who was involved in the shooting death of a 12-year-old city girl was busted on drug charges. Passaic County Sheriff Richard Berdnik said detectives from his Narcotics Bureau watched as Jeffrey Ellerbee -- who'd only just been released from state prison this past March -- sold heroin to a couple at the corner of Vernon Avenue and East Second Street on Tuesday.
