Fun on the Farm opens county’s barn doors to the community

At the top of New York’s Canandaigua Lake, only 5 miles from the shore, is a 500-cow dairy called Fa-Ba Farms, and in 2022, they opened their doors to their community. Fa-Ba Farms was the host farm of a bi-annual event that Ontario County, New York, holds called Fun on the Farm. It’s a day where the community is invited to the farm to learn about their local farmers and agriculture. This year, it was held Sept. 24.

Troopers arrest a Lyons resident for DWI.

On Friday, September 23, 2022, troopers from SP Wolcott responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Hapeman Road and Cemetery Road in the town of Wolcott. Evan C. Fowler, age 26, of Lyons, was subsequently arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with a BAC greater than .08%, and traffic tickets.

17 year-old kills 19 year-old in Williamson

State Police responded to 4949 Ridge Road in Williamson for the report of a stabbing on Friday (9/16) around 7:45 p.m. When Troopers arrived, it was discovered that Arthur C. Edick, age 19, was stabbed in the abdomen and was transported by Mercy Flight to Strong Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
