The City of Palmdale will host a free 4th of July Field Day for all ages on Monday, July 4 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Domenic Massari community building located at 37716 55th St. East, and the Marie Kerr Park community building located at 39700 30th St. West.

The Palmdale City Library will be hosting Summer 2022 Storytime at the Chimbole Center from July 19-August 31st. You can register for Bilingual, Toddler, and Preschool storytimes on Eventbrite.

WM, formerly knows as Waste Management, is pleased to announce Palmdale Landfill's NEW enhanced Saturday operating hours effective May 7, 2022. The public can now visit Palmdale Landfill on Saturday's from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., which will give Antelope Valley residents an additional two hours to bring unwanted materials for recycling and disposal on Saturday.

In honor of Women’s History Month, The City of Palmdale Community Programs in collaborations with Human Resource is hosting an event titled, “Breaking Biases by Us.” The event is aimed to spotlight women in different fields, bolster networking and professional opportunities for women, and foster inclusive and interactive dialogue pertaining to women’s experiences. We understand that all women experience oppression, but we are cognizant that women experience oppression in varying forms based on race, age, class, gender, sexuality, dis/ability, etc. With that in mind, we want everyone at this event to feel supported, included, and represented and are inviting transgender, nonbinary, intersex, gender non-conforming and male-identified individuals of all ages to attend as well.
