Blxst Releases New Project ‘Before You Go’ f/ Rick Ross, Zacari, and More

Los Angeles rapper and singer Blxst has dropped his latest project Before You Go, which sees him further expand upon his blend of hip-hop and R&B. Featuring appearances from Arin Ray (“Fake Love in LA”), Grandmaster Vic (“Pick Your Poison”), Zacari (“Sometimes”), and Rick Ross (“Couldn’t Wait for It”), Before You Go serves as the follow-up to Blxst’s 2020 release No Love Lost. Blxst Recruits Rick Ross, Zacari, Arin Ray, And More For His Upcoming Album, ‘Before You Go’

Blxst’s rise to stardom started back in 2020 with the release of his debut project No Love Lost. After releasing its deluxe reissue a few months later, the Los Angeles singer was well on his way to being one of music’s most popular new acts. Songs like “Chosen” with Ty Dolla Sign and Tyga helped to elevate his status as he eventually earned a spot on XXL 2021 Freshman Class list. That same year, he teamed up with fellow West Coaster and longtime collaborator Bino Rideaux for their second joint project Sixtape 2, and for 2022, Blxst is ready to step out on his own again.

He also landed collaborations with Nas, YG, Mozzy, Russ, and more. Elsewhere, he and Bino Rideaux reconnected for their joint project Sixtape 2. However, that’s all in the past now and Blxst is back in action this year with his new song, “Sometimes.” The track is yet another collaboration from him as it finds him paired beside TDE singer Zacari.
