VR Being Used In North Carolina Public Schools for Better Education

North Carolina community colleges and other educational facilities in the state are starting to use virtual reality to help educate students. Virtual reality allows students to learn and train in virtual environments, helping them prepare for future jobs and career opportunities. The training has been shown to increase student confidence, and proficiency, and reduce the time & cost of physical training for certain high-demand professions. South Piedmont Community College in North Carolina is using virtual reality to allow more students to experience a form of study abroadeven if they do not have the funds necessary to easily do that in real-life. David Wilkinson is the senior enterprise sales and workforce advocate for Transfer VR, a virtual reality company that helps colleges with implementing these systems. He had this to say about this particular program:

Biden admin disbands 'fake' parents council after pushback from parental rights groups

WASHINGTON (CITC) — The Biden administration is disbanding its newly formed national parents council after several advocacy groups accused it of violating federal law. The National Parents and Families Engagement Council was formed in June as a way to "facilitate strong and effective relationships between schools and parents, families and caregivers." Representatives were handpicked by the U.S. Department of Education (DOE) to help the agency engage with communities at the local level.

Where To Find Healthy Organic Food In Atlanta

What are organic foods? Are organic foods natural and healthier? Where can we source them locally in Atlanta?. I used to be one of those who followed the hype of only buying organic food; foods labelled as organic. I did this because I was then ignorant of what organic meant. This was years ago. I know better now. U used to only buy organic grapes and organic watermelon, and then one day it dawned on me that if these were organic how come they had no seeds? All that time, instead of doing my research to ensure what I was buying was actually what I wanted, I just assumed that organic meant, naturally grown, with no GM and or no artificial ingredients, chemicals or additives. I was so annoyed upon my epiphany.

Weekly message from Neighborhood Church: Wait, it’s a good thing!?

Lamentations 3:25 The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him. We had a few of our grandkids over the other night and they were all excited because our house is in the process of being decorated for Christmas. One was over playing at the artificial tree and yelled out, “Papa, look what I can do!” As I sped around the corner not sure what to expect, he said, “Look at all the fun settings we can do for the Christmas tree lights!” I was amazed! I had no idea the tree-lights had all those settings! One other grandchild was just staring at the grouping of nativity figurines we have (we have a bunch from all over the world). They said, “Papa, look there is baby Jesus!” And then she flung Joseph aside to cradle baby Jesus. The other grandchild was helping me assemble the toy monorail around the tree in the front room. He said, “Papa how are we going to put the presents around the tree with this monorail?” Then with a pensive stare at the tree said with a sigh, “I can’t wait to open presents. I can’t wait for Christmas.” I responded letting him know Christmas is all about waiting, and waiting can not only be fun, but good for you!?! He looked at me with a face that said, ‘I think the old guy has lost it.’ Seeing his expression, I said waiting is like another gift, you get to think of all the fun and joy and laughter and even the gifts you might get! Then we talked of past Christmases and all the fun we had with cousins and aunts and uncles and all the great gifts he got last year. I think he might have understood, but he has a lot of life ahead of him to get the good of waiting.
