He was a 2009 graduate from Calhoun High School. Dakota worked for Taurus as a process operator and was a Methodist. He was a loving father and his daughter was the apple of his eye.

Wayne Taylor Racing Acura Wins IMSA Round at Mid-Ohio

It was closer than it needed to be, but Wayne Taylor Racing's fruitful partnership with Acura has now produced two wins in three races. Today's sprint race at Mid-Ohio, the first non-endurance round of the 2021 IMSA season, initially looked like it would be a comfortable win for Mazda. Their lone remaining factory entry led the majority of the race, but the Mazda team found themselves in third after a caution for a beached GTD car in the final hour. The No. 31 Cadillac of Action Express Racing led the No. 10 Acura of Wayne Taylor Racing on the restart that followed, setting up what would become the race-winning move:

SEBRING, Fla. – Just because they won the season opener, the drivers and crew at Wayne Taylor Racing aren’t resting on any laurels. The No. 10 Konica Minolta Acura ARX-05 spent a couple days recently testing at Sebring Int’l Raceway in a bid to earn the Florida double of winning the Rolex 24 and Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring to start the season.
