Taylor went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, an additional run scored and a walk in Friday's 9-4 loss to the Blue Jays. Taylor has five hits in his last five games, but three of those knocks have left the yard as the outfielder has rediscovered his power swing. He went deep in the seventh inning of Friday's contest, though it was too late to make an impact. Taylor is now slashing .231/.281/.441 with nine homers, 31 RBI, 21 runs scored, a stolen base, 12 doubles and a triple through 210 plate appearances.

Taylor went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Thursday's 6-4 win against St. Louis. Taylor struck out twice in the contest, but his lone hit was a big one -- the outfielder slugged a three-run shot in the fourth inning that accounted for half of Milwaukee's run output. Despite Thursday's big blast, it has been a tough June for Taylor, who is batting a meager .169 (11-for-65) with a 2:17 BB:K over 18 games this month.

Taylor went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Monday's 2-0 win over the Cardinals. Taylor took Cardinals starter Miles Mikolas deep in the fifth inning, and that homer was all the run support Corbin Burnes needed. In his last nine games, Taylor has gone 7-for-30 (.233), but he's hit safely in six of those contests. The 28-year-old is poised for a regular role in center field with Lorenzo Cain designated for assignment over the weekend. Taylor is slashing .227/.273/.420 with seven homers, 27 RBI, 17 runs scored, a stolen base, 12 doubles and a triple in 194 plate appearances. While his spot in the lineup is safe, he shouldn't be expected to hit above the bottom third of the order.

Taylor will start in center field and bat eighth in Sunday's game against the Reds. Taylor was recently on the bench for consecutive games Wednesday and Thursday against the Mets, but the Brewers' decision to designate Lorenzo Cain for assignment means that Taylor should have an even clearer path to steady playing time in the outfield moving forward. The 28-year-old will stick in the lineup Sunday for the third straight contest despite having posted an underwhelming .434 OPS thus far in June.

Taylor is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Mets. Taylor was on the bench for Wednesday's 10-2 win while lefty David Peterson toed the rubber for the Mets, and the outfielder will remain on the bench again Thursday with righty Tylor Megill starting for New York. Though Taylor still appears to be manager Craig Counsell's preferred option in center field, the skipper may have wanted to reward Lorenzo Cain with another start after he went 2-for-5 with an RBI and a run in Wednesday's victory.

Taylor isn't in the lineup Wednesday against the Mets. Taylor is out of the lineup for the second time in the last four games after he went 2-for-6 with a double, a run and a strikeout over the last two matchups. Lorenzo Cain will start in center field and bat eighth.

Taylor is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Phillies. Though Taylor is on the bench Wednesday, he may have supplanted Lorenzo Cain as the Brewers' top center fielder by this point. Taylor was in the lineup for each of the last 17 games, and Cain was excluded from the starting nine for the past two contests, when the Brewers faced one right-hander (Mike Clevinger) and one left-hander (Ranger Suarez). Taylor holds a 243-point edge in OPS over Cain this season, and despite the latter's more extensive track record at the big-league level, the discrepancy in the two players' performances may be too great for manager Craig Counsell to ignore.

Taylor went 2-for-7 with two home runs, three RBI, three runs scored and a walk in both games of Monday's doubleheader versus the Cubs. Taylor connected for a two-run blast in the first game, pulling the Brewers level at 4-4. He added a solo shot in the nightcap, which served as an insurance run in the 3-1 win. The outfielder has collected all five of his homers this year in his last 11 contests. For the season, the 28-year-old sports a .252/.301/.472 slash line with 22 RBI, 13 runs scored, a stolen base, seven doubles and a triple in 36 games.

It was his third home run in the last four games and he’s got 10 RBI over the last six contests. His batting average has jumped 39 points in that same time period.

Taylor's big blast to left field in the sixth inning broke a 1-1 tie and proved to be the difference-making hit as the Brewers snapped the Padres' five-game winning streak. With Hunter Renfroe heading to the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a low-grade hamstring strain that will likely keep him out for around two weeks, Taylor should have a clear path to a near-everyday role in the short term in either the outfield or at designated hitter.

Taylor is starting in right field and batting cleanup Tuesday against San Diego. The 27-year-old already started four of the past five games in center field over Lorenzo Cain, but he's now likely to operate as Milwaukee's primary right fielder after Hunter Renfroe (hamstring) was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday. Taylor got off to a slow start this season, but he's come alive of late and is 7-for-16 with two home runs, seven RBI and three runs over his past four appearances.

Taylor is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Reds. Taylor went 4-for-16 with a walk, a run and two RBI across the last four games, but he'll bow out of the lineup for the series finale with Jace Peterson getting a look in left field. While Andrew McCutchen (illness) is on the COVID-19 injured list, Taylor looks like he'll continue to serve as his primary replacement in the outfield or at designated hitter.
