Letter to the Editor: Travis Clardy is a man who listens to the people

During the last Legislative Session, our state representative, Travis Clardy, introduced a bill that would allow the voters of Rusk County the opportunity to abolish an archaic, countywide school tax. He and his staff worked tirelessly on this bill until it was passed into law. Last November, this unfair tax was revoked by the voters of our county! This is PROOF POSITIVE that Travis Clardy cares and listens to the voters in our district. His experience in Austin and commitment to our issues as well as those across our great State of Texas, is most valuable at a time when others have good intentions, but no experience whatsoever. I choose DEDICATED EXPERIENCE! I choose TRAVIS CLARDY and hope you will too!

Having four sons and four grandsons (with more on the way) I understand and embrace the importance of raising a family in a Christian home, and carry that spirit with me as your representative in Austin.
