Tobey Maguire gets $10.7 million for a patch of dirt in Brentwood

Southern California’s hot real estate market isn’t limited to houses. In Brentwood, Tobey Maguire just hauled in $10.75 million for a 1-acre patch of dirt. An empty acre could fetch such a sum only in a handful of Los Angeles enclaves, and Brentwood is one of them. In a neighborhood chock-full of celebrities and famous estates, the undeveloped plot represents the chance to immediately start building a custom home with plenty of space to spread out.

Twitter Trolls Spider-Man: No Way Home By Putting Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire in Bio

Spider-Man: No Way Home is hitting theatres at the end of the year, and there have been many casting rumors surrounding the film. Back in December, a ton of casting reports hit the Internet with huge names being teased like Kirsten Dunst as MJ from Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy, Alfred Molina as Doc Ock from Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 2, Charlie Cox as Daredevil from the Netflix series, and potentially more. However, the biggest rumors of them all have been former Spider-Men, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. Current Spider-Man star, Tom Holland, has denied those casting rumors, but that's not stopping people from having their fun. In fact, Twitter's official account just trolled the Spider-Man account about it.

Did Spider-Man: No Way Home Confirm Tobey Maguire And Andrew Garfield In The Weirdest Way Possible?

The wild nature of comic book movie rumors is sometimes outweighed by the way those rumors are sometimes confirmed. Take, for instance, the persistent rumors that Spider-Man: No Way Home will be a multiversal story that sees Tom Holland meeting up with both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s variants of the famed Web-Slinger. Previously, it sounded like those rumors were simply wishful thinking; though there’s been a slow drip of happenings, past and present, that seemed to support that the matter wasn’t entirely closed. But now, thanks to Twitter, that possibility might have just been confirmed. And in the weirdest way possible.

Spider-Man deepfake replaces Tom Holland with Tobey Maguire

The rumors Tobey Maguire will appear in Spider-Man: No Way Home have seemingly been squashed. So how will we ever see him in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Thank YouTuber Shamook for a new deepfake inserting Maguire into Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home and Avengers: Infinity War scenes in place of current Spider-Man Tom Holland.

Spider-Man Actors Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, & Tom Holland Share Pizza Time in Spectacular Art

Socially awkward straightedge fraud. Over the last 20 years, the Spider-Man character has been portrayed by three different actors on the big screen — Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland who in my opinion each brought something unique and exciting to the table. Now, fans have long been toying with the idea of seeing all three of them share some screen time together in a Spider-Verse project, and with the recent developments surrounding the MCU's third Spidey flick, webheads couldn't help but feel stoked.
