Tim Hardaway Jr. buys non-waterfront spec home in Miami Beach

NBA player Tim Hardaway Jr. set a record — off the court — with his purchase of a non-waterfront home on Miami Beach’s North Bay Road, The Real Deal has learned. Hardaway Jr., who plays for the Dallas Mavericks and is the son of NBA Hall of Famer Tim Hardaway, paid about $9.2 million for the spec home at 6015 North Bay Road, sources said. The Mavericks are currently in the second round of the playoffs.

The Dallas Mavericks have announced that Tim Hardaway Jr. has undergone surgery on the 5th metatarsal in his left foot and that there would be no timetable for his return. While it’s possible Hardaway could be back for the NBA Playoffs, Dallas could be without THJ for the remainder of the 2021-22 NBA season. Dallas could be active during the NBA Trade Deadline to try and add a piece or two to help replace Hardaway’s production of over 14 points per game.

Feb. 1 (UPI) -- Dallas Mavericks guard Tim Hardaway Jr. underwent surgery for a broken bone in his left foot Tuesday, the team announced. Hardaway broke the fifth metatarsal bone in his foot during the Mavs' 130-92 loss to the Golden State Warriors on Jan. 25. He was helped off the court with under eight minutes left in the second quarter during that loss to Golden State.
