ELIZABETHTON - Givia Marie “Moma” Taylor Russell, 69, Elizabethton went home to be with her Lord Thursday, March 10, 2022 at the Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport. She was born June 8, 1952 in Lebanon, Virginia to the late Fred William Taylor and Barbara Ellen Leedy Taylor. She had lived most of her life in Carter County. She loved to cook and send cards. She was a member of Open Bible Free Will Baptist Church, Bluff City. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister: Peggy Grizzle.

With Lost in Space Season 3 now streaming on Netflix, I recently spoke with Max Jenkins (Will Robinson), Taylor Russell (Judy Robinson) and Mina Sundwall (Penny Robinson) about making the final season of the hit sci-fi series. During the interview, they talked about Jenkins huge growth spurt between Season 2 and Season 3, what it was like on the last day of filming, who took things home from set, what they can tease about the final season, who texts too much, and more.

The luxury fashion house made over the entertainment capital of the world by draping it with snow and ice and recruiting four Hollywood stars to populate the frozen terrain while looking chic in Prada ensembles “designed for celebration.” A Midwinter’s Night Dream is the title of Prada’s new Holiday campaign starring Julia Garner (Ozark, the upcoming Inventing Anna), Shira Haas (Unorthodox), Louis Partridge (Enola Holmes) and Taylor Russell (Waves). Fusing together fashion and film — long a passion of Prada creatives — the campaign features a short film based on an original script by screenwriter and director Mary Harron, while Glen Luchford handled directing duties and Ferdinando Verderi the creative direction. Luchford’s collaborations with Prada date back to the 1990s. The campaign’s imagery is drawn from the film stills and is meant to be cinematic in that way, with panoramas and scenes that evoke the big-screen. On that note, A Midwinter’s Night Dream also leaned on a virtual effects tool known as the Volume, which was engineered for the Disney+ series The Mandalorian. NOCONA – Radah Winona Taylor Russell, 93, died on Aug. 4, 2021. A visitation was from 6 – 7 p.m. on Aug. 6 at Jerry Woods Funeral Home Chapel in Nocona. A celebration of her life will be at 10 a.m. on Aug. 7 at the First Assembly of God Church in Nocona with ministers Calvin Durham and Donald Cheshire officiating. Interment will follow in Molsbee Chapel Cemetery, Nocona.

Like its predecessor, Escape Room: Tournament of Champions is a warped maze of codes, illusions, near-death experiences, and hard-to-leave spaces — and like its predecessor, the sequel closes with an electric shock of an ending. Basically, if you thought Zoey (Taylor Russell) and Ben (Logan Miller) were out of Minos’ labyrinth, you don’t understand the world of Escape Room. In the film’s final few moments, it looks like the duo is safely headed back home, but then Zoey realizes that their plane is just another enclosure.
