Actors Emile Hirsch (Into the Wild, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood), Shane West (A Walk to Remember, Salem), Kelli Garner (Lars and the Real Girl, The Secret Life of Marilyn Monroe), and Tania Raymonde (Lost, Goliath) are set to star in the thriller The Stenographer. They join previously cast supporting cast members David Keith (Firestarter) and Steve Coulter (Yellowstone).

Emile Hirsch, Shane West and More Join Crime Thriller 'The Stenographer'

Deadline reports that the crime thriller The Stenographer has typed up the call sheet for their main cast, which will feature Emile Hirsch (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood), Shane West (Gotham), Kelli Garner (Lars and the Real Girl), and Tania Raymonde (Lost). Joining the four stars will be an ensemble that is so far set to include David Keith (Firestarter) and Steve Coulter (Yellowstone). Known for his work as a genre jumping director, helming historical dramas like Modigliani, thrillers like The Invisible and even Christmas features including last year’s Netflix film, Father Christmas is Back, Mick Davis will direct from a screenplay that he wrote.

Shane West reflected on the success of A Walk to Remember — and it’s possible that was because of a real-life bond. “We all had chemistry offscreen, in the sense of bonding and in friendship, including [Mandy Moore], which is the funniest thing because all the other characters had been bullying her. Everyone liked each other,” West, 43, explained in an interview with Vulture on Tuesday, June 15. “It was the opposite of the movie. Everyone got along and had a great time. And yeah, there was chemistry. I think we [Mandy and I] both had a little bit of a crush, but then we were just there for each other in the most honest and purest of ways. That sounds incredibly corny but is true and rare.”
