Inglewood resident Reed Turchi’s music often defies categorization, with words like “psychedelic,” “rootsy” and “Kudzu boogie” occasionally bandied about. He’s best known for his interpretations of Mississippi hill country blues, like the sort made famous by Junior Kimbrough and other artists on the Fat Possum Records label.

A new brunch spot has launched at the Bobby Hotel. Cafe at Bobby launched this week, the latest concept from Chef Ryan Poli, according to a news release. The new eatery will serve breakfast, brunch and lunch daily, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Menu items include options like the McBobby Sandwich (Bear Creek Farm sausage, egg frittata, American cheese and onion jam), the Sue Buxton Lobster Roll and the Beet & Ricotta Toasty (whipped buffalo ricotta and marinated beets on sourdough).

Though it's already booming, Sean Brock believes Nashville’s restaurant scene is still ripe with opportunities for chefs and restaurateurs. “Right now what I’m witnessing from my perspective is this rapid growth,” Brock said. “Or, at least the hope for rapid growth that is quickly getting stunted when there’s no staff present.”
