Sarah Marion (Harrington) Perry of North Adams died Monday March 7, 2022. She was born in North Adams on November 19, 1952 a daughter of the late William Harrington and Harriet (Shearer) O'Neil. Sarah attended schools in North Adams and graduated from Drury High School. She was a self employed cleaner serving Northern Berkshire's for many years. She was last employed as health care aide. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved all animals especially dogs and was a member of A.S.P.C.A.

Sarah Perry pushes 20-year incumbent out of King County Council District 3 position

Following her first campaign for a governmental position, Sarah Perry won the King County Council District 3 election over 20-year incumbent Kathy Lambert. During the elections, Perry garnered 55.68% of the vote while Lambert garnered 43.98% of the vote in the Nov. 2 general election. Perry’s win will allow for greater Democratic majority on the King County Council, shifting the 6-3 majority to a 7-2 majority.
