MATTOON — Longtime Sarah Bush Lincoln administrator Kim Uphoff of Mattoon has been named president and chief executive officer of this health system. Sarah Bush Lincoln reported in a press release that Uphoff, currently chief operating officer for the health system, will assume her new role at the end of July when current president and CEO Jerry Esker retires.

MATTOON — When Lana Keigley, RN, decided to make a career change back to healthcare, she knew she would need support. The former business owner and hair stylist completed her psychology degree in 1999, and worked for Sarah Bush Lincoln Women and Children’s Center in various positions before opening her own hair salon in 2005. Keigley enjoyed her job in beauty, but wanted something more.

MATTOON — Sarah Bush Lincoln Arcola Clinic recently donated $440 to the Arcola Athletic Booster Club from sports physicals performed over the summer. The physicals were provided at reduced costs to numerous athletes by Family Practitioner Robert Biggs, MD, and Advanced Practice Provider Terra Cottrill, APRN, at the SBL Arcola Clinic. The physicals were $20 each, and all of the proceeds were donated back to the school.

MATTOON, Ill. (WAND) - Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center is inviting the public to take in Christmas lights at an upcoming event. The holiday decor will be on display from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov, 18. People will be able to see a 28-foot-tall Old Man Winter, giant colored light bulbs, light-adorned trees and a walk-through, white-lit ornament. In addition, Santa will visit campus in a red convertible sleigh.
