Reaves had five hits, two PIM and a minus-2 rating in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Blues. Reaves has provided plenty of veteran leadership and physicality for the Rangers this season, but he was a net negative in this one. Perhaps miffed that St. Louis got away with a couple of uncalled hits from behind earlier, Reaves knocked down Ivan Barbashev away from the puck in the second period, leading to an interference penalty. The Rangers killed it off, but Reaves found himself on the ice for a pair of goals against later in the middle frame. On the bright side, the 35-year-old winger became the second player in the league to cross the 200-hit threshold this season, joining Florida's Radko Gudas.
